Someone calls 911. The call taker assesses the situation and determines whether a cardiac emergency is likely, triggering the Avive AED dispatch workflow.

RapidSOS pinpoints the caller's precise location and surfaces all nearby (GPS-enabled) Avive Connect AED®s directly within the dispatcher's dashboard, giving the call taker an immediate picture of available resources.

Avive Connect AEDs are dispatched
4 Minute Community™ Solution: The nearest trained Avive Care Team members are alerted through their Avive AED. Linked to 911's system in real time, they are deployed immediately — often reaching the patient before EMS arrives, pads in hand and ready to act.
Public Access Solution: Nearest Avive AEDs are identified through 911’s dashboard and call-maker or bystander is given information about where to run and find nearest AED.

The 911 Calltaker can now reassure
With a care team member or bystander already en route with an Avive AED and EMS on the way, the call taker can tell the person on the line with confidence: help isn't just coming - someone is already turning the corner right now.
