When Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) strikes, every second matters. The difference between life and death can happen in just minutes, long before first responders arrive. That’s why immediate action from nearby individuals is so critical.

Utilizing McKinney’s historical cardiac arrest data, the Neighborhood Heroes Program will strategically place Avive Connect AED®s into the hands of a network of CPR-trained citizen volunteers. This network of Neighborhood Heroes Program Team Members, are then alerted by 911 through their AED, and/or cell phone and dispatched to a nearby emergency.

Avive’s 4 Minute Community™ Program redefines how communities respond to out-of-hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). By combining widespread citizen training with the strategic placement of Avive Connect AED®s in neighborhoods and homes, the program empowers everyday people to take lifesaving action.

When an emergency take place, 911 dispatchers can instantly notify nearby volunteers and direct them to the closest AED, ensuring that a potentially lifesaving shock is delivered within four critical minutes of alert activation.

It’s a powerful, community-driven approach to saving lives, right where they happen.
