Upcoming REALConnect Software Update: 14.0

What’s changing

The latest REALConnect update (for release on September 23, 2025) brings more powerful remote visibility to AED program managers. We’ve added new ways to filter by device Issues and Upcoming Issues from the Dashboard page, plus an overhaul of the AED List page to provide deeper remote insights into device’s connectivity, charging, and sync status.

Who benefits

All user types benefit from the new Dashboard filtering options and the updated AED List page in REALConnect 14.0. AED program managers who want quick insights into program-wide device statuses can now easily filter by multiple criteria from the AED List page.

New features

Dashboard filtering by Issue Type: 
Users can now filter by Issue Type and Upcoming Issue from the Dashboard page and watch the map dynamically update to narrow in on the devices requiring attention. This makes it easier to view specific device issues while on the Map view.

‍Enhanced AED List Page:
We’ve redesigned the AED List Page to display more detailed device information in a clear, organized format that allows for advanced filtering. The page clearly lists out all the AEDs in an organization with columns that display the devices’:

• Last Synced timestamp 
• Connectivity status (i.e. Wi-Fi, cellular, no connection) 
• Battery status  
• Power Mode (i.e. High Power Mode, Low Power Mode, Power Bank Mode) 
• Issues

The updated AED List Page provides clearer status indicators for connection type, Power Mode, and charging status and provides easier navigation between program-level insights and device level details.

Why you’d use it

These updates make it faster and easier to spot, understand and act on device issues without having to physically inspect every AED. By giving program managers detailed remote insights in one organized view, REALConnect 14.0 ensures AED programs remain proactive, efficient, and ready to save lives.
